European Peptide Society
The European Peptide Society was founded in 1989, primarily in order to ensure that the valuable but informal European Peptide Symposia should be continued on a sound basis. The Statutes state that it is a non-profit association established for the public benefit to promote in Europe and in certain neighbouring countries the advancement of education and in particular the scientific study of the chemistry, biochemistry, and biology of peptides.
The American Peptide Society
The American Peptide Society (APS), a nonprofit scientific and educational organization founded in 1990, provides a forum for advancing and promoting knowledge of the chemistry and biology of peptides.
Japanese Peptide Society
The Japanese Peptide Society was organized and established in 1990 and Professor Shumpei Sakakibara was elected as its first president. About 400 members of the society are actively pursuing research in various related areas including physical science, pharmaceutical science, agriculture, engineering, and medical sciences in universities, institutes and private companies.
Korean Peptide Society
The Korean Chemical Society, as an academic organization, promotes research and education in the field of chemistry and the chemistry profession as a vital resource for Korean's economic and social development. The Korean Chemical Society is trying to help the Korean chemists actively and contribute to the prosperity of all humankind through the 21st century with the slogan, " Green Chemistry, Clean World "
Chinese Peptide Society
Australian Peptide Society
The Peptide Societies Network
The aim of PepSoc.com is to bring together ‘like-minded’ Peptide Societies to create a global portal for the peptide community. Currently, the following Peptide Societies are participating in this venture:
The American Peptide Society
The European Peptide Society
The Japanese Peptide Society
The Australian Peptide Association
The British RSC Protein and peptide Science Group
The Protein Society
British RSC Protein and Peptide Science Group
The RSC PPSG is part of the RSC Chemical Biology Forum. Originally founded in 1973 as the Chemical Society Protein Subject Group, it became the Royal Society of Chemistry Protein Subject Group in 1980. The Group has a strong historic basis in both peptide and protein science. The Group was, until recently, a joint group of the Biochemical Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry
The Protein Society
The Protein Society is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization that was founded in 1986 to consolidate the knowledge and experience of a global community of protein scientists and to explore all aspects of the building blocks of life: protein molecules.
